It’s the height of The Great Depression, but hey — the Sycamore family could not be any less depressed. Can Alice Sycamore get her straight-laced fiancé to accept her crazy family? Amateur wrestling, ballet lessons, exiled royalty, xylophone serenades and spontaneous fireworks are the chaotic backdrop to a Romeo and Juliet story everyone can relate to.
