USM Theatre brings a
horrifying and hilarious duo of plays
to the Portland Stage Studio Theatre February
1 - 10
USM Department of Theatre is pleased to present The Zoo Story and The American Dream – written by Edward Albee and directed by
William Steele.
Two men meet at a park bench. A
neighbor visits a suburban family. These innocuous premises become savage
satire in two of Edward Albee’s famed plays. By turns horrifying and
hilarious, these one-acts offer a singular vision of a world spinning off its
axis. As unflinching indictments of American idealism, this is a
theatrical event that will send you reeling.

Portland Stage Company Studio Theatre in Portland, February 1, 2, 7, 8, 9 at 7:30 p.m. And February 3, 6, 10 at 5 p.m.
