HARVEY opens April 22!

USM Department of Theatre is pleased to present Harvey – one of the best-loved comedies in all of American Theatre – written by Mary Chase and directed by William Steele.

Elwood P. Dowd has a friend named Harvey. When Elwood introduces Harvey to the guests at a ritzy party, his society-obsessed sister, Veta, decides to have Elwood committed to a sanitarium. Harvey is, after all, a six-foot-tall invisible rabbit. As the lovable Elwood and Harvey evade Veta, a family crisis becomes hilarious chaos, pitting the realist against the dreamer.
